Video is a new business language. It’s an efficient marketing tool to communicate directly with potential customer, existing clients and internally with employees and coworkers. The growth of interactive videos and other new technologies will spur this adoption of video as a language.
On this episode of Video Marketing 2.0 podcast, your hosts, Joel Goobich and Brendan Carty, continue a previous conversation with Chris Savage CEO of Video Hosting and Analytics firm, Wistia
The worldwide adoption of smart phones has led to an explosion of the use of video as a mode of communication. Smart phone apps such as Instagram, Snapchat, Periscope, Meerkat and others have created the mechanism by which video can be used as a language, a primary means of conveying complex messages. Video has its own cadence and ‘grammar’ similar to any written or spoken language.
And for marketing executives, it is a language they should master, as the population of 25 and below who are the early adopters of this language become an integral component of the business world and an important target of marketing content and ads.
